Sunday Funday

“Beauty Begins the Moment you Decide to be Yourself.”
— Coco Chanel

Some Sunday’s require high heels and and a(n) Hermes bag. Other Sunday’s require nothing but a sweatshirt, a nice pair of jeans, and a sense of adventure. I think it’s important to put yourself together, even on those Sunday’s that call for comfort. A solid outfit gets me ready for my day and makes me feel ready to take on the world.

I started my Sunday with a mimosa (of course) and then went exploring, mountaintops and abandoned warehouses) with a great coat, a photographer (ahem lover boy), and a sense of adventure. Knowing I was going to be walking I opted for a tennis shoe. Your walking shoes can be cute! I opted for a slip-on pair of calf-hair cheetah print shoes, paired with a slightly cuffed, dark wash Zara denim, an Obey Posse sweatshirt, and a beautiful camel coat with hot pink piping from ASOS.

The length of the coat combined with a statement sneaker keep the outfit day appropriate, while classing it up and creating a fashionable edge. Style is something you decide, and even a comfortable, lazy day can be paired with an outfit that packs a punch.

I kept my makeup and hair simple, sticking to loose waves, some blush, and my favorite accessory, eyebrows on fleek. Here are a few more shots from my weekend adventure! Discovery of an abandoned textile mill included!

Here’s to a beautiful Sunday, Mimosa Girls, and to a great week to come. And I hope that week is filled with fabulous outfits, fashionable risks, and tons of confidence.

XOXO
