“Anyone Can Get Dressed Up And Glamorous, But It Is How People Dress In Their Days Off That Is The Most Intriguing”
— Alexander Wang
This outfit was comfy and perfect for the strangely warm weather we’re having here in SC. I wanted something cute that stayed simple, as the boyfriend and I were headed out to a new crepe restaurant for a late breakfast! This place was so cute, very trendy, and absolutely delicious. The best part? Well, for Celiacs like me, it was a great experience to be able to have a Nutella, banana Gluten Free crepe, along with an almond milk sea salt caramel latte!
But, food aside, I really loved this outfit! I wore a simple black, dolman style turtleneck with my go-to leggings, a pair of coated leggings from Madewell. I popped this all black outfit with a pair of d’orsay cheetah, pointed-toe pumps. I added a pair oversized Tahari shades, and a blanket scarf in multiple grey’s from ASOS. I finished the look with a pop of red, an adorable red bag from Express.
I loved this outfit because it was casual enough for breakfast, but still had that flair that makes me, me. I truly believe that you can never be “overdressed or overeducated” and I think you should always have fun with your outfits, especially on your days off. Work dictates a certain style, and the weekends are a time to throw on whatever makes you happiest. That, like a mimosa, is an opportunity I never pass up!
After my photographer babe of a boyfriend and I left the crepe shop, we drove to the top of a mountain that features, not only a great view but some really cool graffiti, so of course we had to snap a few shots! Here are some of my favorite snaps from our exploration!
Well Mimosa Girls, thank you, as always for reading! I hope this look helps you pump up your weekend style, and as always, stay fearless! Wear what makes you happy, and never be afraid to be fabulous!
