It’s Sunday again Mimosa Girls, anyone notice it’s been three weeks in a row? Mirrors&Mimosas is here to stay! This Sunday I wanted to keep it casual, while beating the summer heat. I grabbed a few of my favorite pieces, and was out the door for a day of shopping, brunching (I mean it’s Sunday), and a little bit of work.

I explored around my town, hidden alleyways, splurged on makeup, and relaxed in our brand new independent bookstore (yay — I’m a total book nerd). I needed an outfit that could handle my busy day. I grabbed an oversized button down, my favorite pair of boyfriend shorts, and silver brogues with a hidden heel to help add a little height to my 5’1 frame.

I accessorized this simple look with a detailed loop belt, a necklace stack all thanks to Rocksbox (which I highly recommend for designer jewelry on a budget, use my discount code: carabff43), and a quilted black bag. Of course I added a pair of sunnies (a la Italia) and a swipe of Yves Saint Laurent le Orange — my new go to lipstick.

All of these items kept me feeling polished, while able to enjoy a day running around town in 100 degree weather. I hope everyone had a lovey weekend, and is getting ready for a new productive week!
